Today’s Words of Wisdom artwork comes from Lucy Bridge…enjoy!
Describe a bit about yourself and your work?Venturing from the north of England (rainy Preston) and having my sites firmly set on London from a young age, I have been working as a make up artist for the past 4 years. I have a huge LOVE for my profession, the fashion industry, my cat, NYC and I also have an OCD obsession!!
What are your words of wisdom and why?‘By doing a job you love, it doesn’t seem so much like work’. I feel by doing something I really enjoy and love, when I am at ‘work’ it doesn’t seem to much as a chore, but something I love to spend my days doing. I think in order to have a happy life you really need to be doing something which you love and for me this is make up.
Who is your role-model?My mum.
Upcoming projects?Working on lots of upcoming editorials, music artists and working on a very exciting beauty brand collaboration and fashion film.

Launched in 2011 by Teo Connor and Loren Platt on the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, the W Project celebrates women working across the creative industries through a lively mixture of events and activities. We aim to promote empowering role-models and help build a better creative community for the future.
