Today our Words of Wisdom artwork comes from Ese Akpojotor… enjoy!Describe a bit about yourself and your work?I am the founder and designer of greeting cards company Sweet Design Studio. My style I would say, is very contemporary, girly, colourful and eye catching. I have two methods of design: one by computer aided work and the other by hand using mixed media.

What are your words of wisdom and why?My words of wisdom is “born to be a star”. Everyone has a talent! it is what we do with it to develop and enhance it. You are not literaly born a star but we all have something to give back or help others so those are my reasons for choosing my words.

Who is your role-model?My mum and dad, steering more to my dad. He was a man of invention, he was someone who could make anything out of nothing and make it work, he worked outside the box, he always had the passion for what he was making and just worked at it. My mum didn’t go to fashion school but she taught herself how to sew, understand pattern cutting and make clothes for herself.

Upcoming projects? Not really a project but will be attending this year’s Pulse trade show debuting my stationary collections.
